Didn't DA used to have a 'busy' emotion for journals? Where did it go?
I have my due dates for my last 4 assignments coming up for the next 4 weeks starting this week, but after that I should have free time again and will have finished education...forever...man that thought really hits me hard.
But anyway, I'll get to the point of this new journal, the first assignment is due this Friday and I have to present a pitch as if u was applying for a job presenting a portfolio, a showreel and also what's called a 'web presence'. A 'web presence' is to show your activity on online accounts, show that you are in touch with the common person...or some reason like that, so I'll be presenting the front page of my DA account so I have to tidy it up a bit, I noticed my old meme-based journal was on the front page...not too professional-looking with he layout so I have decided to make a new one with a cleaner layout (it doesn't matter what's written, I doubt it will be read). Plus i will make my front page look more professiona sych as posting those links at the top to my other web presances.
So yeah, that's the purpose of the text you are reading or glancing at right now.
So I shall be ever so busy these next 4 weeks, once that's over and I get spare time again I can go back to making videos again. Will I make parodies of touhou project again? The current answer is "I don't know at the moment", but this answer may change to "not right away" or "never". Why "never", well a number of things have pushed me to think that, one of the biggest factors is that I have to think about getting a job when I finish and I can't make one out of touhou parodies because:
A. I don't own the series and can't legally make money off of it, the only reason I can submit them without trouble in the past is because I was not making money off of it
B. I don't own the 'create.swf' a.k.a 'Walfas' program character/background designs since they were drawn by KirbyM, he is its owner
C. the 'touhou sketches' have copyrighted music and sound bytes used in them
So legally i can't make making touhou parodies into a job...not that many viewers understand this, many talk to me with a tone that implies they want me to make them forever (granted I'm not the only person to get this, people go on and on saying we need a 'toy story 4'...why? the first 3 films are perfect, we don't need Pixar to run it into the ground like they what happened with Shrek or Spongebob), so that doesn't help. Many other reasons lead to that answer as well, such as the fact I made them when the series was new and exciting to me but now I've known it for 2 years and I know all the interesting parts. Maybe I'll make a video to explain them all the other reasons as well, some drive me to even think "I wish I never made those stupid videos".
On a related note to the above, I would like to thanks everyone who do care about me and have given me reassurance during these stressful times, it really does help, epically those who did my last journal, its purpose was not for the meme but for reassurance, the meme just happened to be a the excuse to get these answers which I craved.

And lastly, a funny note, when I was making my YouTube videos my dad told me I should put more focus into the 3D work for the course (which I got bored of in the 2nd year of this 3-year course which lead to the YouTube videos) because it wouldn't help me get a job, and now it looks like it will. Growing up with a childhood where my dad is always right (because he was), it's nice when I get these rare chance when I am right (well hopefully anyway), partially since I'm better at 2D animation than I am 3D. So I shall laugh at the hindsight...ha ha...that was the laugh.
