What's so evil about 'evil'?

as a kid, i learnt from the movies the following;
"the good guys are good and do good things so you should root for them because they are good"
And "the bad guys are bad and do bad things so you should hate them because they are bad"
As I got older, I learnt that we actually have the freedom to have our own opinions about things
And then I asked the questions ‘why do we have to root for the good guys’ and ‘why do we have to hate the bad guys’…and it opened up so much for me
A series can have a different impact, when I watched ‘Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog’ rooting for the heroes, it was boring because in that show sonic can do anything which means he’ll always win, I watched it again rooting for the villains, and dam was it a lot more fun, the villains are quirky and a lot more likable, especially the hammy dr. robotnik of the show
Ever since I’ve come to grow tired of protagonists and often favour the antagonists
After all the villain makes the story, would spiderman have a job if he wasn’t having to fix problems the green goblin or any of the other villains cause? Of course not, the villains make the series exciting
Not to mention bowser getting more character development than the mute Mario, the lizard starts off as ‘pure evil’ but soon becomes witty, sarcastic and at times he can either become a ‘jerk with a heart of gold’…or a ‘comic relief villain’ if your playing the RPGs XD
Not to say I never like the heroes, if their well done enough they’ll have my support, earthworm jim for one, but in most cases, go bad guys

So yesterday I came across ‘sonichu’, the poorly presented stories about a Pikachu/Sonic hybrid…how original, or it would be about him if the writer didn’t put himself in the story and made him the centre of attention
He’s the mayor of the city, everyone loves him, his ways are always the right way, anyone who doesn’t agree with him is a villain, the stories often cram his views on life into things (often homophobic and racist)…can you say Mary Sue? Because I can
It’s not just the fact he put himself in the story, many people have done so before, it’s called ‘author avatar’, matt Groening has appeared in many episodes of the Simpsons as well as the Simpsons game, Stan Lee appeared in the final scene of the final episode of the 80s spiderman cartoon (the good one, the bad one is the 60s version) and makes regular cameos in marvel movies, ‘Jon Arbuckle’ is basically his creator ‘Jim Davis’ only with a cartoony cat named Garfield, you can meet the programmers to pokemon in the very first game and heck, I appear in my videos often as well
But when the creator puts himself in the story, they often mock themselves; I do it all the time, HA HA HA! IN MY FACE! TAKE THAT ME! Or go as far as having them appearing just to get killed, like Maxwell Atoms creator of ‘the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy’ (Billy assumed he was no-one important), plus I died in a Halloween video (non-canon death, but still dying). Or it’s just a 5 second cameo, probably something for fans to enjoy seeing as no-one else would get who it is really
That’s not the creators only problem, other include how one dimensional his characters are, a group of 6 characters all copy-and-paste-personality re-colours…actually I could go on and on about what the problems are for the series, but there’s a wiki for that so I think I’ll stop there and try and get to the point now

So yea, this is like the main villain for the series, ‘mary lee walsh’, named after a former dean the author didn’t get on well with, fitting to that, she is literally a witch
It’s hard to understand what exactly is going on in this series at times, but from what I can gather, she’s a one-dimensional cliché villain who stands for rights for homosexuality and anti-racism…and we’re meant to hate her for that?...well she’s also pro-troll…but only because the author gets trolled for his so-called ‘comic’
She also for some reason specifically targets the author avatar trying to stop him getting a girlfriend…no she is not a former psycho ex-girlfriend before you ask, she just targets him because….umm…she’s evil….um what?
If the author knew the rule ‘the villain makes the story’ he probably would have developed her personality a bit better, the best development she got was at the climax before she was killed…I mean paralysed and thrown in jail (which was better?), she revealed that she does what she does because she is a social outcast who has never experienced love herself…AND WE ARE MEANT TO HATE HER FOR THAT??? Frankly I like her more than the heroes, but the way the series comes across its hard to like anyone
Thank god for fan-fiction….minus the ‘fan’ part, with a little tweaking, anyone can improve the series and actually make it enjoyable, one of the most common ways is the reverse the roles and make the villains the heroes and vice-versa, seeing as who the author avatar is its actually amazingly easy to do, commonly Mary is made into a much more sympathetic character, frankly I like her better that way
Another thing is in the series, she actually has long grey hair and wears a yellow Vikings helmet with red horns coming out…but because the author is so bad at drawing people mistook it for a blond bob cut, but I like it better this way, the grey long hair is too cliché and the bob cut gives her more personality in her look, so I went with that

In summary, this guy has made a lot of mistakes in his life and this poorly-done series he has produced is the result of such
I heard that “everyone you meet in life is a teacher”, I guess this guy is teaching me what not to do in life
i’m only 7 years younger than he is, I hope I can make something of myself

A main problem with the author is that he can’t accept his limitations
Now I shall prove I can
I am sooo bad at hand-drawing people
In fact this image was never hand-drawn, it was designed fully on the PC, without a drawing tablet even
And to go even further, I used a template from DA to get the proportions right, I can do proportions for worth a s***, in fact here’s the template;

heck, the face’s design was even based on the design by ‘Spazkidin3D’ in his ‘Sonichu The Animated Series’ videos
so yea, I can’t draw people, I trace photos and templates for the poses, I’m not perfect, no one is

I went with the template because this is how I see her, misunderstood and trapped (hence the tear)
She’s doomed to forever forced to be a cliché villain forced to fight some ego-manic and his army of unoriginality for no reason against her own will (if she even has a will), when she could have been so much more
